There are few things more crucial to the success of your business than real estate selection. Here at Saxbys, we’re always keeping an eye out for prime café locations. Locations can range from 250 square feet (a kiosk location) to 2000 square feet. We exclusively open cafés in high-traffic locations, such as busy city streets, college campuses, shopping centers and train stations. We have a diverse portfolio of urban, suburban, college and kiosk cafés which drive brand awareness across a variety of demographics.
Each potential site is carefully analyzed for market potential, demographics, competition, customer profiles, and traffic counts. We guide the franchisee through the lease negotiation process and ensure that deals are done right, fairly, and efficiently.
Our design and construction experts, along with our corporate architect, will help you build a café that is custom designed with your local community in mind. We will supervise the build-out process, including construction, graphics and equipment installation. Our team will rely on our previous experience and best practices to ensure an efficient, consistent café build-out.
We’ve worked hard to perfect a training program that turns each Saxbys team member into a hospitality professional (after all, we are a hospitality company fueled by great coffee). All franchisees will undergo training in our Philadelphia HQ that focuses on managing your café, including guest engagement, scheduling, accounting, ordering, and general business management. It also includes an introduction to drink preparation.
Before your café opens, we’ll conduct our second phase of training with you, your café manager and your team members that focuses on guest engagement and café operations. This phase of training will take place at your café and/or in Saxbys headquarters.
Our final phase of training takes place during our opening week, with our Senior Manager of Hospitality Training and/or Corporate Trainers on site to assist you with guest engagement and café operations.
At Saxbys, you will receive ongoing operational support from our seasoned operations team, including assistance with an operational pro-forma, support through the café build out process and assistance with establishing necessary vendor networks. Post café opening support includes P&L review and analysis and café audit/evaluations.
Our experienced marketing team is here to help you drive sales, uphold Saxbys brand standards and generate tremendous PR. You can use our marketing team as a resource throughout the grand opening process and once your café is open to create marketing materials, organize community outreach events, promote your café on social media and drive traffic to your café.
